Day 1 | Transfer in Quito

You will be welcomed by an English-speaking assistant and a private transfer from Quito Mariscal Sucre airport to your hotel.

Day 2 | Quito Hands on Experience

On this first day, you will explore Quito’s colonial center, taste exotic fruits, experience traditional herbal rituals, and learn about Ecuador's deep-rooted connection with cocoa. Stand on the Equator, visit the Pululahua crater, and enjoy the unique agave culture at South America’s first agave experience museum.

Day 3 | Cotopaxi National Park

You will start the day in Cotopaxi National Park to see snowcapped summits of the Cotopaxi and Antisana volcanoes. You will also visit the Interpretation center to learn about the history of this spectacular volcano’s major eruptions, as well as the local flora and fauna. Then, you will visit Lake Limpiopungo and explore the surrounding area on foot.

Chaski 04.25 Lake Quilotoa Cotopaxi

Day 4 | Quilotoa Lagoon

On day four, you will visit the volcanic crater of Quilotoa, where you can enjoy the vivid turquoise lake and all its serenity. You also have the option of a short walk along the crater's slope. On the way back, you will stop to visit the galleries of the Tigua community to appreciate the paintings that represent the folklore of this area in the Andes.

Day 5 | Arrival in the Galápagos Islands

You will transfer from Cotopaxi to Quito Airport and fly to Baltra Island in the Galápagos. You will enter through a special VIP lounge where you can get a refreshing drink, before transferring to the Itabaca Channel to explore its spectacular turquoise waters. With a chance to kayak, snorkel and stand-up paddleboard, as well as encounter blue-footed boobies, sea lions and white-tipped reef sharks, there’s no better introduction to the Galápagos.

02 North Seymour - Blue Footed Booby

Day 6 | Tour to Neighbor Islands

Step aboard a motor yacht and enjoy an excursion with welcoming crew and knowledgeable naturalist guides. You will visit North Seymour and Bachas, South Plazas, Santa Fe or Bartolomé Island and Sullivan Bay.

03 Elizabeth Bay (Isabela Island)

Day 7 | Isabela Island

After a morning speedboat to Isabela Island, you will visit the Tintoreras islands, spotting sharks, sea lions, penguins, and more. Snorkeling follows, with playful wildlife encounters. In the afternoon, you will bike along the Wetlands Trail, seeing mangroves, marine iguanas, and the historic Wall of Tears, a site of historical importance.

02 Sierra Negra Volcano

Day 8 | Sierra Negra Volcano

Explore Isabela, one of the Galapagos' youngest, most active volcanic islands. Hike through misty highlands to the massive Sierra Negra crater, then on to the surreal landscape of Volcano Chico. Spot wildlife, witness lava tubes and fumaroles, enjoy sweeping island views, all topped off with beach relaxation.

Day 9 | Leaving Galápagos Islands

 

The last day of the tour will involve an early morning speedboat back to Santa Cruz and then a transfer back to Baltra for a flight back to mainland Ecuador.
