Day 1 | Transfer in Quito

You will be welcomed by an English-speaking assistant and a private transfer from Quito Mariscal Sucre airport to Otavalo.

Day 2 | Excursion Otavalo Market

You will visit Otavalo, a vibrant town where Kichwa culture thrives, and explore its famous craft market. Highlights include a tour of master weaver Miguel Andrango’s workshop in Agato, showcasing traditional techniques. In the afternoon, you will visit Cuicocha Lagoon in Cotacachi-Cayapas Reserve, ending the day in Cotacachi.

Day 3 | Condor Project & Cheese Factory

You will spend the morning hiking to the hacienda’s condor reintroduction project, stopping along the way to see some pre-Inca mounds, and hiking back to the hacienda to visit a cheese factory and embroidery workshop. The remainder of the day is free to relax or visit the beautiful grounds of the hacienda.

Day 4 | Quito Colonial City Tour

Explore the colonial capital of Quito, home to one of South America's best-preserved historic centers. Visit key landmarks like the Main Plaza, La Compañía, and La Ronda street. Enjoy a chocolate tasting at Yumbos artisanal factory, then end the day with panoramic views from Panecillo Hill while admiring the iconic statue of Our Lady.

Day 5 | Arrival in the Galápagos Islands

In the morning, you will take a private transfer from your hotel to Quito Mariscal Sucre airport in order to take the flight to Galápagos Islands. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Endemic Catamaran. In the afternoon, visit Dragon Hill and see land iguanas, flamingos' lagoon and other endemic birds species.

02 Galapagos Islands Kicker Rock

Day 6 | San Cristobal Island

The day begins with a scenic circumnavigation of Kicker Rock, a dramatic sea bird nesting site. Next, visit Witch Hill for a zodiac ride, snorkeling, and kayaking along stunning shores. In the afternoon, explore Lobos Island to observe blue-footed boobies, frigates, and snorkel with playful sea lions.

Day 7 | Española Island

Explore Española Island, the Galápagos’ southernmost island, home to unique wildlife like the Hood-Mockingbird, blue-footed and masked boobies. Visit Gardner Bay for swimming and snorkeling with sea lions, turtles, and fish. In the afternoon, hike at Point Suarez to witness spectacular cliffs and one of the archipelago’s richest wildlife sites.

03 SANTA FE

Day 8 | Santa Fe Island

In the morning, visit Santa Fe Island for hikes through cactus forests and highlands to see land iguanas, followed by snorkeling with sea lions. In the afternoon, explore the Charles Darwin Research Station and see giant tortoises. Then, head to Santa Cruz’s highlands for birdwatching and a walk through lava caves.

01 South Plazas

Day 9 | South Plaza Island

In the morning, you will discover South Plaza Island with unique Sesuvium plants and Opuntia cactuses scattered across the landscape which provide some of the most interesting wildlife observations available in Galápagos. Land iguanas are easily seen from the trail, frequently under the shade of cactuses, waiting for a prickly pear to fall. After this last visit, transfer to Baltra airport for your return flight to mainland Ecuador.
