01 David Rodriguez Breeding Center - san cristobal 1 - tortoise

Day 1 | San Cristobal Island

AM: Arrive at San Cristobal Island, where you'll be transferred to the yacht, settle into your cabin, and enjoy a welcome briefing and lunch.

PM: Visit the David Rodriguez Giant Tortoise Breeding Center to learn about the conservation efforts for these iconic creatures, with a walk through the reserve to see baby tortoises in semi-natural conditions.

02 Suarez Point 1

Day 2 | Española Island

In the morning, visit Española Island, the southernmost and oldest in the Galapagos, known for its endemic species. Explore Gardner Bay and Osborn/Gardner Islets, famous for its white sandy beach and playful sea lions.

In the afternoon, hike Suarez Point to see Española's endemic species, including the Waved Albatross breeding site. Witness albatrosses, marine iguanas, Galapagos doves, boobies, and more.

03 Devils Crown

Day 3 | Floreana Island

In the morning, explore Floreana Island’s Devil’s Crown, a top snorkeling site with vibrant coral reefs, sea lions, rays, and hammerhead sharks. Alternatively, visit Cormorant Point, home to two beaches and flamingos feeding in brackish lagoons, with one beach known for its green color and the other for fine white sand.

In the afternoon, visit Post Office Bay, the site of the first post office in the Galapagos, where visitors leave and pick up postcards. Alternatively, head to Baroness Lookout Point for stunning views and to learn about the mysterious history involving the Austrian Baroness.

04 Charles Darwin Research Station

Day 4 | Santa Cruz Island

In the morning, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island to learn about conservation efforts, including the Giant Tortoise restoration program, and ongoing research to protect endemic species.

In the afternoon, explore the Highlands, home to volcanic landscapes, lava tubes, wild giant tortoises, and diverse birdlife, including finches and short-eared owls.

05 Pinaccle Rock

Day 5 | Santiago & Bartholomew Islands

In the morning, visit Santiago Island’s Sullivan Bay, known for its stunning volcanic landscapes, including tuff cones and pyroclastic formations. It’s also one of the best spots to see the Galapagos fur seal.

In the afternoon, explore Bartholomew Island, home to the famous Pinnacle Rock, with Galapagos penguins, sea turtles, and vibrant marine life.

06 Darwin Bay

Day 6 | Genovesa Island

In the morning, visit Genovesa Island’s Darwin Bay, known as "Bird Island" for its large population of red-footed boobies and marine iguanas. The bay was formed by a collapsed volcano caldera, offering excellent birdwatching opportunities.

In the afternoon, explore El Barranco (Prince Phillip’s Steps), a rocky trail leading to stunning cliff views and a Palo Santo Forest with nesting red-footed boobies.

07 Egas Port

Day 7 | Santiago Island

In the morning, explore Santiago Island's Egas Port (James Bay), home to lava lizards, fur seals, and tide pools, offering great snorkeling opportunities.

In the afternoon, choose between Buccaneer Cove, known for snorkeling and pirate history, or Espumilla Beach, where marine iguanas and crabs attract herons, with excellent snorkeling prospects.

08 Black Turtle Cove

Day 8 | Santa Cruz Island

In the morning, visit Santa Cruz Island's Black Turtle Cove, where mangroves create a rich habitat for rays, sharks, sea turtles, and waterfowl. Enjoy a peaceful zodiac ride through the lagoon.

In the afternoon, transfer to Baltra Airport for your scheduled departure, marking the end of your Galapagos cruise. Safe travels!
