Operator's Itinerary

01 Highlands Santa Cruz Island

Day 1 | Baltra & Santa Cruz Islands

In the morning, you will transfer to the boat to meet the guide and get on board.

In the afternoon, enjoy the highlands, visit a tortoise ranch and see some of the amazing volcanic formations on Santa Cruz.

02 Isabela Island Caleta Tagus

Day 2 | Isabela Island

In the morning, you will visit Tagus Cove, located on the Northwestern coast of Isabela. It is a historical site visited by Charles Darwin in 1835, where graffiti has been carved into the rock walls by visitors over the past centuries.

In the afternoon, you will visit Urbina Bay, a fascinating visitor site that came to be as the shallow sea bottom uplifted in 1954 showing a large coral reef sticking up above sea level.

03 Espinoza Point

Day 3 | Fernandina & Isabela Islands

In the morning, you will visit Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island. From here, you will see the island of Isabela across the Bolívar Channel, an area that boasts some of the highest diversity of endemic sea fauna in the Galapagos.

In the afternoon, you will visit Vicente Roca Point, which has great deep-water snorkeling at one of the richest marine havens on Earth (Bolivar Channel).

04 Egas Port

Day 4 | Santiago Island

In the morning, you will explore the spectacular shoreline of Puerto Egas, also known as James Bay. Spot a great number of shore birds and reptiles – the beach area is home to a plethora of wildlife.

In the afternoon, jump into the panga and cruise alongside high cliffs and rock formations on this visit to Buccaneer Cove, which was a favourite hideout for pirates looking to stock up their boats with food and water.

05 North Seymour Island

Day 5 | North Seymour Island

In the morning, you will encounter an amazing wildlife experience visiting North Seymour Island – this island is teeming with life! Follow trails to see all the action (you may need to give way to a passing sea lion or marine iguana while walking).

Later in the afternoon, you will disembark at Baltra for flight back to Ecuador mainland.

The Main Deck features indoor facilities such as the check-in area with comfortable armchairs where you can sit down and enjoy your favourite drink at the indoor bar located next to the check-in area. There are also two spacious lounges featuring flat screen TVs used by guides for their daily briefings or by yourself to watch videos expanding your knowledge about the Galapagos Islands. We also use them for social celebrations.

Panoramic Suites

Hermes Galapagos Mega Catamaran accommodates 20 guests in 12 state-of-the-art suites, 10 double and 2 single. They are distributed on the main and upper deck and are equipped with a walk-in closet, a fully stocked mini-bar, and a vanity. In addition, they feature floor to ceiling windows and a private balcony. You also have a jacuzzi in each suite, next to a panoramic window overlooking the fascinating landscapes of the Galapagos Islands.

Owner's Suite

Hermes’ Owner’s Suite is an additional suite that we have included for travellers looking for more space, comfort, and privacy. We combine two double suites on the main deck to form a 70 m² (754 ft²).

All suites feature private balcony, mini bar, walk-in closet, and jacuzzi.

Double Suite

Double suites are 35 m² (377 ft²) on average, and all of them can be convertible. Four double suites located on the main deck can be interconnected.

The twin suites are 22 m² (237 ft²) and are located on the main deck.
