Operator's Itinerary

Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 | San Cristobal and Kicker Rock
Arrive in San Cristobal airport and board the Silver Origin Cruise.
In the late afternoon, circumnavigate around Kicker Rock where Blue-footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies and frigatebirds can be observed in the air. Look out for sea lions along the shore.
(Dinner)

Day 2 | Genovesa Island
On day one, step ashore Genovesa Island, often referred to as the 'Bird Island'. Prince Philip's Steps showcase stunning birds including the Red-billed Tropicbirds, Magnificent Frigatebirds, Nazca, and Red-footed Boobies.
Then visit the picturesque sandy beaches where Galapagos sea lions often rest, marine iguanas relax and large schools of reef fish and brightly colored sea stars lurk in the waters.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 | North Seymour and Sullivan Bay
Land on black lava rock at North Seymour Island. Visit a site where sea lions nurse pups and frigatebirds nest. At certain times of the year, pairs of Blue-footed Boobies dance here in a ritualized mating dance.
In the afternoon, head to Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island where red Sally Lightfoot crabs scuttle along the black volcanic shores.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 | Ferdinanda and Isabela Islands
Sea birds, shorebirds and land birds join at Ferdinanda where the land meets the sea. Red, white and black mangroves create a haven for fish, sharks and green sea turtles.
Head to Isabela Island for the Pahoehoe black lava field. Hike over huge other-worldly landscapes of corrugated lava and witness the largest Marine Iguanas of the archipelago basking on the rocks.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 | Santa Cruz Island
Anchor in front of Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, home of the Tortoise Breeding Center. Enjoy some free time in Puerto Ayora town where local artists have created charming art galleries and corner cafes.
Explore the Santa Cruz highlands where flora and fauna differs drastically from the shoreline. Giant tortoises love this climate to mate, feed and rest before their next long migration to the shorelines.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 | Española Island
Española is considered one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos and has thus developed endemic species, such as the subspecies of colorful marine iguanas. Galapagos Hawks also visit the coastline and even giant tortoises.
In the afternoon, head to Punta Suarez, the western point of Española. Sheer cliffs make for great birdwatching including Swallow-tailed Gulls, Nazca Boobies, Blue-footed Boobies and Waved Albatrosses.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 | San Cristóbal
Arrive on San Cristóbal to see dozens of the adorable sea lions flopping across the sandy shores. Look out for the blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds with bright red pouches. Enjoy the white-sand beaches by relaxing or snorkeling.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 | San Cristóbal
Transfer to airport to fly back to the mainland.
