01 Day San Cristobal Airport

Day 1 | San Cristobal & David Rodriguez Breeding Centre

Arrive at San Cristobal airport where you will be transferred to the vessel.

In the afternoon, visit the David Rodriguez Breeding Centre which provides information about the origin and evolution of the giant tortoise and explains why the centre is so vital in safeguarding the future of these incredible creatures.

02 Day Gardner C

Day 2 | Española Island - Suarez Point & Gardner Bay

The morning will start with a memorable walk of Suarez Point taking you past nesting sites of large colonies of nazca and blue-footed boobies and mockingbirds.

In the afternoon, visit the pristine white sandy beach of Gardner Bay dotted with sea lions that provides a perfect spot to relax and kayaking or paddle boarding is a fantastic way to observe the large number of waved albatross who use this beach as a breeding site.

03 Day Posto C

Day 3 | Floreana Island - Cormorant Point & Champion Islet

In the morning, you will visit Cormorant Point featuring two contrasting beaches and later take a panga ride to Champion Islet, an extinct shield volcano, providing a fantastic opportunity for snorkeling in an area that is known for having a high diversity of fish.

In the afternoon, explore the history of Post Office Bay, a man-made site that offers an insight into a remarkable mailing tradition, and then take a panga ride to the Baroness’ Lookout, a volcanic rock formation named after an Australian baroness.

04 Day Bachas

Day 4 | Mosquera Islet & Santa Cruz

In the morning, you will visit the Mosquera Islet, with no fixed trail, you are free to explore the beautiful surroundings on foot, where you will encounter a large population of sea lions, shorebirds and the striking Sally Lightfoot crabs.

In the afternoon, explore the beautiful Bachas Beach of Santa Cruz. It is a popular nesting site for turtles, so if you go for a snorkel, you might find yourself sharing the water with these wonderful creatures.

05 Day Darwin Bay

Day 5 | Genovesa - El Barranco & Darwin Bay

In the morning, you will discover El Barranco, also known as Prince Philip’s Steps, which is a rocky stairway that will lead you past a colony of nazca and red-footed boobies leads up to a plateau of dried lava.

In the afternoon, you will visit Darwin Bay, perfect for snorkeling, kayaking or paddle boarding in calm, sheltered waters in the company of hammerhead sharks, rays and a plethora of colourful reef fish.

06 Day Espumilla Beach

Day 6 | Exploring Santiago Island

In the morning, you will visit the exquisite white sand Espumilla Beach, located on the northern coast of Santiago Island. Later that morning, you will see Buccaneer Cove where sailors, buccaneers and whalers frequently anchored their vessels in search for food and water.

In the afternoon, you will visit Egas Port, which was once the site of a salt mine, but now this impressive black sand beach is an excellent location for snorkeling and observing shorebirds, Sally Lightfoot crabs and marine iguanas.

07 Day Galapagos Black Turtle Cove

Day 7 | Exploring Santa Cruz Island

In the morning, you will visit the Black Turtle Cove, which is located on the north shore of Santa Cruz. It is a living illustration of how mangroves alter the marine environment to create a rich and unique habitat.

In the afternoon, you will visit the highlands of Santa Cruz, with the opportunity to see the famous giant tortoises in the wild. Later, you will encounter the Charles Darwin Research Station that provides guests with a unique opportunity to find out about the vital work that is being carried out to preserve the archipelago’s ecosystems.

08 Day Galapagos Islands Lobos Island

Day 8 | Lobos Island

In the morning, you will visit the Lobos Island by panga, providing the opportunity to snorkel in the calm clear water and see these inquisitive and playful animals up close and it is also common to be accompanied by green turtles and rays as well.

In the afternoon, depart from San Cristobal airport.
